Shipping Policy
At Montélier, we are pleased to offer complimentary insured shipping on all orders within Australia and worldwide. Every piece is carefully prepared, packaged and dispatched with the utmost care to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully presented.
Order Processing:
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding Australian public holidays. Ready-to-ship pieces are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days following payment confirmation.
Bespoke and made-to-order pieces require additional production time. Estimated lead times will be communicated at the time of purchase and may vary depending on the complexity of the design.
Complimentary Worldwide Shipping:
Montélier proudly offers free insured shipping on all orders, both within Australia and internationally. All parcels are shipped via trusted courier services and include tracking, with signature on delivery where available.
Estimated Delivery Timeframes:
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
- Australia: 1–5 business days
- International: 5–14 business days
Please note these timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on your location, customs processing and courier operations.
Customs, Duties & Taxes:
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other government charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Montélier has no control over these fees and cannot estimate their cost.
Shipping Address:
Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information is accurate before completing their purchase. Montélier is not responsible for delays, additional shipping costs or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout.
Delivery:
Once an order has been dispatched, ownership and responsibility for the parcel transfers in accordance with applicable Australian law and the courier’s delivery terms. If your parcel is marked as delivered but cannot be located, we recommend contacting the courier immediately and notifying us so we can assist where possible.
Delays:
While we strive to dispatch and deliver all orders promptly, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally result in delays, including but not limited to:
- Extreme weather events
- Customs inspections
- Courier delays
- Public holidays
- Industrial action
- Other events outside our reasonable control
Montélier is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our control.
Damaged Parcels:
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing amar@montelier.com.au and include:
- Your order number
- Photographs of the parcel
- Photographs of the product
- A description of the damage
We will assess the matter promptly and work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
